Invented in the sixties of the last century, Nd:YAG(Neodimium Doped
Yttrium Aluminum Garnet) has been and continue
to be the
most widely used laser crystal for solid-state crystal material. Its laser parameters
are a good compromise between the strengths and weaknesses of its
competition. Nd:YAG crystals are used in all types of solid-state
lasers systems-frequency-doubled continuous wave, high-energy Q-switched,
and so forth. Compared with
others laser crystals, its fluorescence lifetime is twice more than
Nd:YVO4, and thermal conductivity is also better. Red Optronics supplies quality Nd:YAG rods with high optical homogeneity,
consistent performance, and high processing accuracy.
Applications:
-
Nd:YAG can produce blue laser with the frequency-doubling of
946nm
-
Nd:YAG can be operated in a very high power laser up
to kw level
-
Nd:YAG can be Q-switched with Cr4+YAG directly
-
Due to the cubic symmetry and high quality, Nd:YAG is easy to operate with
TEM00 mode

NOTES: To inquire or order a finished Nd:YAG laser rod, please provide specifications
as listed in the above. For general application, we only need to know
the main specifications: Nd-dopant concentration, sizes, and coating.
For
special request, please provide specification in details for evaluation
and fabrication.
